To support our clients, a tailored therapy/treatment plan is develop in order to ensure our clients needs and goals are met. Sessions include talk therapy, psychoeducation, activities, worksheets, and at times homework.
For anyone who wants to incorporate christian principles and practices into sessions, it will typically include all of the above plus prayer, worship, and Bible reading.
Even if you are not a Christian, you are more than welcome to request some or all of the aspects of Christian counselling into as many or as little sessions if you would like. We beleive that the Bible and related practices can offer some support even to those who may not beleive in it however consent will always be obtained before hand. Think of this- in the same way Yoga and spiritual practices related to Hinduism is incorporated into some organizations, we at Redeemed Counselling and Psychotherapy Services incorporate Christian and biblical practices into Christian counselling client sessions with consent.

Director, Registered Psychotherapist

Born and raised as a Christian I have always loved the Bible and living out my faith. In a lot of ways common religious practices helped keep my mental, emotional, and spiritual health in check however in moments where I needed to process trauma having a Christian therapist made a difference. In a world of so many voices and opinions sometimes it can be hard to know what to do, who to confide in, or who to even listen to and as a Christian I understand how challenging it is to navigate mental health challenges while living out your Faith. Sometimes you may feel you need a little more support in addition to your Pastor's care. With this in mind I knew I wanted to create a place where faith and therapy could come together in the healing process. I wanted to have a place for those Christians- leaders, pastors, & regular church members alike- to have a safe space to share and work through difficulties. So with this vision in mind, after careful consideration and prayer, I decided to start Redeemed Counselling and Psychotherapy Services. Though not exclusive for Christians, Redeemed CPS gives space for people to have a place where Christianity and therapy could be used together. Oftentimes the two are separated but if done correctly (with clients who consent) it can be extremely beneficial to the therapeutic process. Ultimately my passion is helping individuals and families so if you are interested click here to book a free consultation.
